Tasting note

The Pierre de Tuf always seduces with its elegant yet suave caress, and 2019 is no different. There's an abundance of tannin here, but it's all chalky and mouthcoating, lick-your lips stuff. While there's depth and richness, there's always a ripe, sweet profile - all raspberries and blackberries. Don't expect loads of weight, this is, after all a Loire Valley Cabernet Franc, but you should anticipate an appealing fragrance and sense of broodiness in its tea leaf, smoky characters and pencil lead. Ripe yet classic.
