Tasting note

Understated and fresh. From Domaine de la Noblaie’s top parcel, planted in the 1940s. Aged 18 months in oak of new and old oak, clay and porcelain amphora. Cool nose of clay earth, white pepper, forest floor and blackberry. More blackberry and cranberry on the palate, almost crunchy, but wonderfully balanced, and an attractive bloodiness on the finish. There’s a very appealing smoothness to this wine.
