Syrah? Shiraz? Why a different name for the same grape? Come taste for yourself two different wine styles made from the same grape variety across different terroir. 

We start with a Southern Cape Syrah from up and coming South African winemaker Sam Lambson. The Minimalist Wines Connect the Dots 2019 is perfect to drink now with soft tannins and great balance. This will be followed by the Cornas Renaissance 2014 from Domaine Auguste Clape, a Northern Rhone Syrah master. To finish, we will be comparing two mature Australian Shiraz from two leading producers of the country. The Torbreck Runrig 2006, and a Penfolds Bin 389 2004.
